Janie Lewis and her brother have always been on each other's nerves. It's not that she hates him or anything. But she's not necessarily excited about his existence, either. Janie wants nothing to do with her brother, PJ Lewis. But she somehow, always keeps getting involved with the chaos he's bringing. Everything starts going complicated when Janie is threatened at one of her brother's insane parties. Her brother puts her through hell and she finds herself trusting someone she's never even thought of trusting before. Through the story, Janie realizes that maybe she should toughen up and start taking better care of herself.

"I fall too fast, crash too hard, forgive too easy and care too much. Maybe that's why all these things are happening to me. I let him push my around, when i should have just stood up to him and taken better care of myself."

"If I was stronger than this, maybe these things would've never even happened to me."
