Xiao did not often venture into the city of Liyue. When he did it was only for pressing matters, ones he simply couldn't avoid. He wasn't a fan of the loud noises from the harbor's market areas, the merchants who always tried to pry into his business, or anything about it really. But most importantly, Xiao didn't like the unfamiliarity of a place he once knew well, the memories it brought back. That's why he knew something was wrong when Lumine had summoned him to that very harbor one late night.
