This is my first novel (A horror novel) and my first time putting a novel up on these kinds of apps/websites. The novel isn't finished yet but I will put the first chapter in. I will keep adding new chapters in when I finish them. For now, the first chapter will do. I hope you all enjoy the first chapter, if you do, please give me some love. 

The story is about a married couple getting a vacation from work for the whole month of December. They rent a beautiful mountain house in the Rocky mointains in Utah. The vacation is relaxing but something goes wrong. They feel like they are being watched in their private house. Sinister things happen day by day. Will they find out who or what is watching them? Are they really in danger and being watched by a monsterous person? Find out by reading the novel and the upcoming chapters.All Rights Reserved

The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.

WARNING: in this story you are depressed and have social anxiety. it sucks in reality (ik from experience) but I have some ideas on how to use these to a romantic fan girl advantage. ;). in this story you don't have any powers (sorry) but you are really strong and independent. you also have a pair of twin katanas that you carry around with you everywhere. your parent shipped you away for the summer. a town is visible from the small plane window. surrounded by a forested area it seemed pretty secluded. it might not be such a crappy summer vacation after all. I was really glad when I managed to get my katanas trough airport security too. I might have some time to practice. the weird sensation of someone following you snapped you back to reality. when you saw that no on was behind you calmed down and went back to planning how to not make the summer suck but for the rest of the day, you knew, someone was definitely following you.

We ran to the Hummer and we were off. I check my watch, it was 10 AM. I slept for a good 4 hours. I checked the rear view mirror to see if anyone was following. It was clear. “Who were they after?” I asked Noah, after 30 minutes of silence. I wasn’t looking at him but looking through the window. “Funny…. They were after you Vi.” He said with surprise in his voice.

He whispers as I felt something sharp on the side of my waist that was piercing the surface of my skin. My heart pounds heavily my breathing became strained causing me to exhale faster and heavier. We stood inside my bedroom feet away from my sleeping husband he pulls me closer to his body moving backwards to the hallway. I could only follow hoping that my life would be spared. Suddenly, we stopped by the edge of the staircase. "You're mine." He whispers in a hoarse tone placing a kiss on my cheek hitting me on the head with the back of the knife. I was seeing double. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out.
