Set in the world of "The Walking Dead" a zombie apocalypse has been occurring for a few years now. After many tragedies, loses, and hardships the group has faced, Beth Greene is separated from the rest of her group. She was taken to a hospital with people she believes to be dangerous. To their luck, her group comes to rescue her, but the deal didn't go as planned. After being shot in the head, everyone in Beth's group thinks she is dead. They were all devastated. But what they didn't know was that she had survived the shot. This story follows her on her journey of her survival. Fighting to live. Fighting to get back to her people. She will do whatever it takes.

Beth and Daryl's relationship grow as they fight these walkers together in order to survive. And they both saved each other's life. When you're stuck in a world filled with walkers, all you needed are the ones you love and Beth learns what it was like to be out in the world with Daryl Dixon. And she finally felt safe. Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
