Set in the world of "The Walking Dead" a zombie apocalypse has been occurring for a few years now. After many tragedies, loses, and hardships the group has faced, Beth Greene is separated from the rest of her group. She was taken to a hospital with people she believes to be dangerous. To their luck, her group comes to rescue her, but the deal didn't go as planned.  After being shot in the head, everyone in Beth's group thinks she is dead. They were all devastated. But what they didn't know was that she had survived the shot. This story follows her on her journey of her survival. Fighting to live. Fighting to get back to her people. When the world went to hell it didn't make much difference to y/n's life. She was alone before everything and she was alone now. When everything started she avoided people. You met Maggie Greene at NYU: you were studying fine arts, she was studying agricultural sciences. She was finishing up undergrad while you were finishing your masters. Maggie being from the South and you being from the North, your world views were vastly different; that's probably why you clicked so well. You both graduated in May, the world fell in August. You had no one, and so you drove as far and fast as you could, knowing if there was anyone you could turn to, it was Maggie.
