Leah Johnson was a normal 15 year old. Well, not really "normal". Unless you consider "normal" having no parents and living in an orphanage your whole life. She has friends. She hangs out with them but not at her "house". No body knows her real story. They just think her parents are always busy. But the truth is that when she was 2, her parents realized she was a mistake. That she "ruined" their life.
Her orphanage is definitely one of the worst. You have to be home by 11 pm. You have to eat whatever they give you, nothing more, nothing less. You have to clean up EVERYTHING. Always keep your room clean no matter what. And many more stupid rules. If you make one mistake they lock you in the basement for 2 days and 1 night. Without any food or water or anything. They also beat you, but they hate Leah the most.
She thinks she is worthless, ugly, fat, and stupid. She thinks that life will never get better. But that all changes when the new boy walks in.
