It was 78 years after the Great Tenma War. Tempest and the rest of the world was at peace. One day a sudden earthquake hit them, then a new whole piece of lands were there. That sudden change of the world bring new chaos.

One day the Empire of Sadera attacked Japan when a mysterious gate appeared on Alnus Hill. In Japan it was a summer season. The Second Lieutenant of the JGSDF Itami Youji was at the Summercomiket when the the mysterious gate appeared at Ginza. Moments later multiple Wyverns appeared from the mysterious gate and started to slaughter the Japanese people. Due to this the Japanese Government started to take action and Itami Youji became a national hero and was promoted into First Lieutenant all meanwhile crying due to the Summercomiket got canceled due to the incident.

Souma Kazuya just became the king of Elfrienden Kingdom yesterday after he was summoned into this world. Suddenly there was a minor earthquake happened and there was a mysterious light appeared during the earthquake. After that light disappeared there was another new continent that appeared. But that wouldn't be discovered until Rimuru Tempest visited the new continent.
