Pan has spent her life feeling a quiet, constant connection to Trunks, hoping he might one day recognize it, but he refuses to acknowledge it. When she severs her side of the bond out of heartbreak, the silence should be a relief for Trunks. Instead, it unravels him, making him realize what he lost.
Now, with a single careless wish binding them together in a way they can't escape, Pan and Trunks are forced into close quarters on a journey through space. Pan feels wary and defensive, while Trunks is driven by guilt and new understanding, determined to prove his feelings. Tensions simmer, tempers clash, and their unresolved emotions circle around them endlessly. Trunks, intent on winning her back and making up for his neglect, works to repair the damage. Pan, still protecting herself from heartbreak, refuses to make it easy for him.
As they drift deeper among the stars, their bond grows wilder, tangled by emotions neither feels ready to confront. Far beyond, something ancient awakens, watching with keen interest, aware of the complexity and significance of what Pan and Trunks are, have been, and may yet become - if the forces waiting for them don't tear them apart first.
