Whenever happiness is destroyed, there is always the scent of blood.
Kamado Tanjiro has known this truth for a long, long time, yet he was unprepared for the time misfortune struck once more, right at the moment when he thought everything would be fine. As Tanjiro sets out on his journey to find a cure for his sister, he finds himself in the busy and breathing streets of Asakusa, Tokyo. Masses of people live their daily life wherever he looks. Two of them become vital parts of his future, for one of them is the demon responsible for his shattered happiness while the other shows him that the world still has its beauty if he's willing to look. A girl his age from overseas enters Tanjiro's life and fascinates him anew with every passing day as she becomes his trusted ally and maybe even more.
