Months after the events of The Great War between Wakanda and Talokan, newly crowned Queen Shuri is forced to navigate through the problems of leadership. She is left to her own means, and the damage brought from Namor is still all around her. But one day he returns with a deal she couldn't resist and becomes increasingly disturbed by the events that follow, fearful of how far he'll make her go.
