Finnian Thysor's younger brother Archibald is a magician. It can often come in quite handy having someone he can turn to for free spells and charms who still owes him for years of brotherly annoyance. However it can just as often cause problems that Finn would rather not have to deal with. Such as when a miscast spell causes Archie to disappear without a trace. And then it isn't long before the magical pleas for help start arriving. So, armed with the name of a beach on the mysterious Arys Isle, Finn sets out to find him. But Arys Isle is a strange place and the people are even stranger. Red's Wolves
Alera lost her mother early in life and was raised by a strict king for a father and the many nursemaids who crossed themselves before touching her. He knew what she was and didn't cross himself before letting his hands touch hers longer than needed for helping her to her mount. And on her 18th birthday, neither could deny the bond that dragged them together. But her father had her sold off to make an advantageous match with the neighboring king's sullen and cruel son. Even a kingdom over, the whispers of the canny princess the people feared as fae reached royal ears. But they thought to use her to their advantage...to put fear in their own people's hearts and make them bend the knee. Of Stones and Such
This is a living book of short stories that will grow over time. It may not all be in this first book of stories, but in follow-on tomes. These stories are all based in the universe of "Pearls of the Mother," the same universe from which the "Duncan and Lilly" stories live. Some of these stories may overlap, and some may be continuations of another, but they are all part of the same universe. I created these as part of my "World Building and Backstory" system, and I've come to love them just as much as the books. I hope you will, too. Every time a question came up while writing one story, I wrote another story to answer the question. I guess it really is true ... Summary: A foolish prince tries to rescue the wrong princess and almost ends up as a giant's breakfast! Inspired by The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, I bring you: The Mystic Woods. Imagine that there are lots of kingdoms like the Enchanted Forest, called Arcane Terrains! And each have Guardians/Monarchs/etc. And thus, we have The Mystic Woods. Very much inspired by the set up in Dealing with Dragons. Still got a "captive" princess (Sophia, daughter of Ben, King of the Mystic Woods), but instead of a dragon it's a giant (half-giant! also half-FireWitch)! And he's a wizard! He's kinda evil?? His name is Yonah HaEsh. It's his job to be evil, but he's a good person. Wilclif, The Beginning
What is this story? The main character of this story, Wilclif, is a Dungeons and Dragons character I have created. He is an intriguing character that has a very interesting backstory. This book goes over the early events of his childhood where Wilclif is taught his first lessons putting him on a path of adventure and I intend on creating more books about the adventures of Wilclif leading up to the campaign he is being used in. I am writing this as the campaign is going on so depending on the events of this campaign will affect the future of this series that I intend to write.
