It hasn't been an easy journey, but the residents of the region have proven once again that they are stronger than their weaknesses. They have rebuilt and everything seems to be going right once more. Until one gym leader begins to have these...dreams. Dreams that aren't really dreams. Visions of a different time and a different life altogether. At about the same time, earthquakes begin to rip across the region, having no explainable source or epicenter. Ash had lost his seventh league consecutively. Despite this, he was happy that he could finally confess his love to Serena. However, his heart shattered when she revealed she would be with Calem instead. She even added that she was only with him to maintain her reputation, breaking Ash's heart into pieces. This was his last straw, and he left the place, unaware that Serena had been forced into her decision. Upon returning home, Ash discovered that his friends had also betrayed him. This crushed him completely. Heartbroken, he left Pallet Town and isolated himself on Mt. Silver, the harshest place in the world. After some years, Ash returned. By chance, he was accepted into a college called Kalos High University. There, he encountered Serena, the traitors, and his true friends.
