I ran faster towards the beautiful scent that put my nose in a trance. It smelled like mint and .. flowery flowers ? I felt the wind blow my hair back rougher, the smell became intoxicatingly strong. The scent stopped infront of a river and I looked around frantically, smiling like a idiot. 

My mate is probably on the other side of the river. I closed my eyes and breathed in. Everything was quiet. You could hear the birds chirping and the water crash lightly into the rocks. The sun bathed my skin. 

~Snap~  I heard.

My eyes opened and I looked around again, but saw no one in sight. From the other side of the river I saw a figure walk slowly behind from a tree. I gasped and my eyes widened in horror. "No it can't be .." I breathed out.
