You might be asking, hey Random, what's the difference between this reader insert and your other one?

And I would tell ya, two things.

1. This is a more Splatoon 3 centric story, as opposed to the typical Splatoon 2 centric format. Figured may as well give some folks over in the Splatlands something to chew on while the plot of the first goes on.

2. Our lovely reader avatar is a human, as opposed to a cephalopod like in the first one. Always thought that angle of a Splatoon story was neat, may as well throw my hat into the ring right?

I can't speak for the speed of this in relation to the first, as this is more experimental, but I hope your enjoy your vacation all the same. You will not be compensated.
