Lydia Jones is a 16 year old girl who moves around a lot because of her moms job as an artist. Her mom has been trying to find a good artist job to pay for the house but they have been struggling since Lydia's dad died in a car crash 3 years ago. He was on his way to work when a car hit the drivers side of the vehicle and he was dead within seconds. Lydia still can't get over the fact that he's gone but she's trying her best to stay strong for her mom. 
With all the moving her mom thinks she found the right job and a good house for them to live in. Lydia has to adjust to the new place and the new school, but what's happens when Dylan hayes, the school bad boy, starts to like her..??
