Lumina, one of the two girls to be selected from the same province, is absolutely happy with her life in the palace. She and Prince Travon are going strong, and her best friend, Indigo, is always by her side. But soon, these things quickly fall away. Strange realizations about her past are haunting her, previously nice girls turn nasty, and the already nasty ones get worse, and Lumina is left with the realization that life at the palace is going to be even harder than she could ever have previously imagined.
OKAY: This is a sequel to my previous book, The Thirty-Six Selected! If you haven't read that, you'll probably be fine, but you might want to read that first.

Previously known as 'my selection' in the books it's maxons selection but what if it was the other way around? in this story, it's America's selection.
