Not a typical love story between Layla and her canidates. She's not the average teen girl who falls in love in junior-senior year. But just not only being an underclassmen, but a talented photographer and artist who fends for herself in this synched world in where we believe in 'love' and believe that it solves all of our problems. For Layla? It's the complete opposite. Will she accept her fate with that someone? Layla is lead photographer in her school as she goes to almost every game jsut to get the perfect shot. But when a disturbance occurs with a football player what can she do? This is a predominantly black series with A LOT of toxicity, lust, hatred, jealousy, and a lot of drama. Hope you enjoy since it's kinda my first book :) As mentioned above this is gonna be a very toxic 'love story' type of book since I find those very interesting. Make sure you share it to help another small account out!! Updates about the series will be uploaded in the description or at the end of each chapter!! Byeee - Kenny 🖤🖤🖤

Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that. ~ Martin Luther King-Jr. Colton: With a difficult upbringing and only myself to rely on, building a new life for myself wasn't always easy. But Mama K giving me a second chance at life was all a kid like me could ever hope for. She allowed me to flourish and have dreams. So finding my love of soccer and being able to be the success I am today - I owe it all to her. She showed me I mattered. Even so, escaping my past and trying to move on proved tough at times. The darkness was always there. Always lurking around the corner, waiting to suck me in again. Finding silver linings was damn near impossible....until her. Angels on earth. Who knew they existed? Not me. She was a beacon of light, that light you see at the end of the tunnel. Layla, was the angel's name, and she was going to be mine...
