Emma Black attends Truham Grammar School, focusing on her athletic abilities and trying to keep her sexuality as close to her chest as possible. Key word: Trying.

She was outed along with her best friend, Charlie Spring. Life at school was difficult for them from the second it happened, and I'm sure it scared some people into staying closeted until after graduation.

One person who felt that fear was Nick Nelson, the star rugby player at Truham who's trying to figure out his sexuality whilst falling in love with the bisexual swim captain, Emma Black.
