After the fall of the prison, the survivors are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the weight of their losses. The sanctuary they fought so hard to protect is gone, leaving them scattered and adrift in a world overrun by chaos. With no clear destination, no promises of safety, and no guarantee that their loved ones are still alive, they embark on a desperate journey into the unknown.

Aimlessly wandering through the unforgiving wilderness, every step is a struggle for survival. Supplies are dwindling, the walkers are relentless, and the uncharted paths they tread are filled with danger. Yet the survivors press on, clinging to the fragile hope of reuniting with those they've lost. But in a world reduced to ash and ruin, finding family feels as impossible as finding peace.

Along the way, they encounter strangers with their own stories of survival-some who offer aid, others who pose an even greater threat than the undead. Each encounter forces the survivors to question their trust and humanity. The bonds between them are tested, strained by desperation and grief, as they grapple with what it means to keep going in a world that seems determined to break them.

Ashes of the Fallen, the second installment of the Fallen Forged Forever trilogy, follows the survivors as they fight to endure. Their journey is one of danger, self-discovery, and resilience as they search for meaning in the ruins of civilization. Will they find the strength to carry on, the courage to trust again, and the hope to believe in a better future? Or will the ashes of their world consume them entirely?

Their story is far from over. In this chapter, they will learn that even in the darkest times, the human spirit can endure. Their fates are uncertain, but their will to survive remains unbroken. The journey continues in Ashes of the Fallen

She was far from home, wandering through the wreckage of a post-apocalyptic world that no longer made sense. The rules had changed. The future was gone. All that remained was survival, day by day, step by step, always looking over her shoulder. She never expected to find hope again. She didn't expect safety. And she sure as hell didn't expect to fall for a man with a crossbow and a heart he tried to keep hidden. Daryl Dixon was unlike anyone she had ever known - powerful and untamed. A man who carried his pain like a weapon, with eyes that held the weight of a troubled past. He didn't trust easily. He didn't let people get close. But there was something in her, something raw and real, that held him quietly captive. Thrown together by chance and bound by the instinct to protect what little they had left, they begin to find something neither of them believed could survive the end of the world. Not just trust, not just loyalty, but connection. And in the spaces between bloodshed and silence, in the ashes of what was once civilization, they discover that even in the darkest times a love they never expected could take root - raw, real, and relentless. But in a world where every choice carries a price and loyalty is tested in fire and blood, can love really survive the end of the world? Mature content 😜 Original female character. Some main TWD plot points included but with lots of divergence. Beginning just before the start of season one and will follow the entire run of the show. 39 parts Complete Mature

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.
