Hecate Faye

In the supernatural world, peoples age's freeze at 18 until they find their mate. Only then will they start aging again, depending on who they're mated to. The universe tends to find a way to keep them together. They are also born with a tiny symbol tattoo representing who they're mated to.
These are normally invisible to the naked eye until the person stops aging.

Hecate grows up thinking she wouldn't have a mate, not with who she was or the amount of enemies she has. Why would fate and the universe curse someone with her for a mate?

It's not until she wakes up on her 18th birthday, feeling different but not knowing what it was until she saw a symbol on her hip. Absolutely mesmerized with the reality that she did in fact have a mate, that fate did indeed have a plan for her, her heart skipped a beat when she noticed a second tattoo appear next to the first one.

The first tattoo was what seemed to be a pair of wings.

The second, a cowboy hat.
