Kara and Lena are married and have a teenage daughter, Lorelei.

Lori, despite being half Kryptonian hadn't developed any powers from the moment she was born, all the way through to her teenage years until one night her mothers come home from date night to see a giant burn hole in the roof, the penthouse in a mess and Lori nowhere to be seen.

Thinking the worst, Kara flies out in search of her daughter locating her hiding away in the fortress of solitude, crying and scared. She calms her down and promises to help teach her how to control the same powers she possesses.

The only thing is Lori doesn't want them and asks Lena to come up with a solution to get rid of them for good. Both women adhere to their daughter's wishes and almost succeed until Kara goes missing causing Lori to reconsider using her powers to help try save her mother.
