He is, after all harbouring a pretty big secret himself (namely, a shameless crush on said best friend). When an experimentation with a Legilimens spell works perfectly, on the most perfectly wrong target, Sirius becomes temporarily subjected to the live narrative thoughts of the complex enigma that is Remus Lupin. Confused by what he hears, will he be inspired to act on long repressed feelings or even more determined to preserve his most important friendship? Maybe in tales of questioning unrequited love it isn't always easier to read their mind...

Remus was sure he'd have to say goodbye to his friends this year, but oddly it seems they have forgotten about his secret entirely. Or, more likely, they are hatching some sort of plan to uncover it.
