High School Interesting how two words can carry with them the entire spectrum of human emotion. For many, they bring positive feelings centered around personal growth, infinite possibilities, lifelong friendships, a chance for love. Many still, these words bring about sensations of negativity. Fear of failure, self-doubt, rejection, the struggle for personal identity. Of course, reality is never so easy as to have one side or the other. Life is too complex, too grand, too chaotic to be so naively simple. Most have a wonderfully terrible mix of both sides of the coin. For a sophomore like Ryan, however, life has something special in mind. His days of flying under the radar, of walking the fine line between both sides of life's coin, are numbered.

Deep in the breathtaking forests of California, there's a school unlike any other-a hidden haven for six teenagers from all corners of the globe. Life here isn't perfect, but it's normal... until it isn't. They laugh, they argue, they grow-bonded by late nights, inside jokes, and the magic of their differences. In this strange, beautiful mix of cultures and identities, growing up feels a little less lonely. But then something changed. Something cracked the core of their tight-knit circle- A fight? A betrayal? Or something else entirely? Now, with trust shaken and the future unclear, the question lingers: Can they find their way back to each other? "We're different. But that doesn't mean we have to shrink ourselves to fit what society expects." - MacKenzie Gauthier
