In my Corrupted AU Eclipse was a good, caring. He later got infected with a virus, it made him evil, altered his thoughts. He wanted the star, Eclipse almost killed Sun 
so Moon gave it to Eclipse. Luckily, or rather unluckily, the star had a protection system. It ridded Eclipse of the first one, but infected him with another, one he could not control. This is the story of how Eclipse went from caring brother to deadly mad man
