Hi, I'm Cameron Cooper. Your average down on his luck guy in his early twenties trying to get his life together. Problem is when you fall in with the wrong crowds, it's hard to get out.

This is a short story about one of the normally nameless grunts you see all the time in action movies.
One morning, Cameron gets a text from his friend about a job offer. Something simple that will pay well. But everything about this job has Cameron on edge. What has he got wrapped up in now?

Before Smoky lived on the Nameless Street, P & his family moved there. His parents taught the kids of the street the values of family & survival until they suddenly passed. As a young kid growing up on the Street, P's sister knew them as well as any Rude Boy. One day while trying to help children escape a kidnapping she is taken instead. 5 years later, there's still no sign of her until P spots a girl at the Fight on the Container Street that looks like his sister. Only, this girl has no memory of him or the Rude Boys & further more claims to be Rocky's younger sister? Watching all seasons & movies will help you enjoy the story more as you'll be able to recognize more scenes not as elaborated on, characters, Easter eggs etc. especially in later chapters. It's not required & you can still understand & enjoy the story I try & keep characters as close to in character and their original personalities & plot while adding more background & behind the scenes to those we don't hear a lot of in the original material (specially in earlier chapters) Update: A/N & annot. will now be in the comments, to keep the look of chapters cleaner. Story is my own creation, inspired from High&Low. I've had it in the back of my head for a while, since Jan. 2020 & writing here began Mar.-Apr. 2021. A 19 year old boy has had a really rough past to get over. He is lost in his life and he is alone. He tries to act tough on the outside to try to protect himself from other people. He is a little on the inside, but he hides behind the wall that he built up over the years. What happens when that wall he built up over the years finally crumbles down? Note this story does include swear words. It also has some violence. I would say that this story is rated PG-13. I hope you enjoy the story This is a CG/L story. Brontosaurus and Other Stories
This is a collection of twelve short stories, each published previously in literary magazines or short story anthologies. The story Droning won the Bookshop Santa Cruz Short Story Contest in 2005. The story Brontosaurus was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2015. The story French Fries was rejected by more than thirty publications before it was selected for a print anthology. These are some of my favorite stories of all the stories I have written. My hope, dear reader, is that you will enjoy them also.
