Kat's every day life consists of stealing, surviving and looking after four young orphans like herself. All this is turned upside down when she steals a boat to rescue the the orphans and is ship wrecked on an enchanted island. Now she is living an impossible fairy tale life and on top of all that she soon finds out that she was the only real human and orphan out of the five of them. But when the Dragon Riders become angry with the angels Kat now has to stop a war from happening before it destroys the island and its creatures.
