Amber was born and raised in the southern water tribe until the age of six. She was best friends with Katara and Sokka. Amber is a special bender, she able to bend all the elements just like the avatar yet she doesn't know why. When the Fire Nation comes for the last water bender of the southern water tribe Amber knows it is Katara but is unsure of what to do. In the end she decides to use her bending to help save her tribe. The Fire Nation takes her to the Fire Lord who relizes she could be useful, so Ozai raises Amber to protect The royal family and be loyal to the Fire Nation. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. The three of them would cross paths with Aang, Katara, and Sokka, but Makki would always have trouble reuniting with her siblings, so she would try her best to show Zuko the right path.
