Amber was born and raised in the southern water tribe until the age of six. She was best friends with Katara and Sokka. Amber is a special bender, she able to bend all the elements just like the avatar yet she doesn't know why. When the Fire Nation comes for the last water bender of the southern water tribe Amber knows it is Katara but is unsure of what to do. In the end she decides to use her bending to help save her tribe. The Fire Nation takes her to the Fire Lord who relizes she could be useful, so Ozai raises Amber to protect The royal family and be loyal to the Fire Nation. So What will happen whan the Avatar Returns and she is with Zuko when he is first found? Will she side with the ones who took her in or the one who could bring peace?

This story takes place after the war has settled. When team Avatar decides to return to the southern water tribe to visit Sokka and Katara's family, they end up bringing Zuko along, giving him a well deserved break of running the fire nation.
