The war has been raging for decades and has brought death upon thousands - surely he is not the best chance they have to out an end to it. All eyes are on him. He's torn between setting off to join the expedition or fleeing to the countryside to live in peace with his love. As fate intervenes, the future becomes blearier and blearier, and Dallon begins to realize that he is nearing the end of his story.
