He calls out and I release my hand from the guard rail not realizing that as I looked at the lights that covered the shining city with the falling fire in the background that my subconscious was thinking about how nice it would be... how relieving it would be... to just fall. True freedom. I take a step back and wrap my hands together turning around to a fully clothed unchanged man and nod once. I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."

But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." (All credit goes to my sister, who wrote this when she was in the twelfth grade)

I pull away and rub my lips trying to get the sensation to go away. Jordan stares at me with her eyes squinted. I look her over and see nothing short of the perfect mate I am used to, however, something isn't right. Jordan pulls me down closer to her and starts leaving little kisses all over my body. Every place her lips touch immediately burns. I push her away and move towards the bottom of the bed. She sits up and moves to come closer to me. I move away again. "Liam, don't you want to mark me? Don't you want this?" Jordan looks at me pouting. This is when I realize what is going on. I smile and move to her. "Of course, I want to my queen," I coo at her and grab her wrists and pin them behind her head. My hands are burning from touching her, but I fight through it. I start leaving kisses all along her neck and pause where my canines are supposed to sink into her neck. Jordan lets out a throaty moan and I can smell her arousal. I kiss up and towards the middle of her throat. My canines extend and I bite into her throat and rip it out. Her eyes fill with pain and she struggles before the life is finally drained out of her. I drop the muscle and flesh from my mouth and let out a howl of victory.
