"...Girl don't blame me if I slip and call you baby, that's just my way of letting a lady know she's working on me...." Hailee Greenfield is an extremely talented singer, though she's nowhere near the level of success that her favorite country singers have. One night, she's playing at a local bar in Nashville. One request stands out to her. As she meets Morgan and grows closer to him, will their friendship blossom into more? Will they survive two musical careers, especially as Hailee grows and becomes more and more popular? Will Morgan and Hailee put in the effort to make their relationship last?

[Book 1 of the Country Love series] Memphis Dixon and Morgan Wallen knew each other since the ninth grade when Morgan moved to Knoxville from Sneedville, Tennessee. The two were inseparable. Memphis was a bit of a wild heart and Morgan loved that about her. She was willing to take risks and had probably been caught speeding in her 1980s Chevy Silverado at least a handful of times. After high school, Morgan went on to bigger and better things. He moved to Nashville to sing country music, leaving poor Memphis behind and she resents him for it. But, one night, Memphis sees him again in Knoxville and Morgan tries to patch up everything between them
