Older brothers. I have more than people could handle. I have 8 brothers. Well one is my twin, but surprise surprise he likes to make it known that he is older. Sometimes it sucks being the only girl, but I wouldn't change it for the world. My name is Alora. I am 14 years old and a freshmen in high school. People think that my family is perfect and that we have never had anything bad happen to us. We lost our mom over 9 years ago. I also had something bad happen to me, but I will get into more detail in the story. This book is just for fun. The fake mask, the 'happy' countries wore. The secrets they all hid. The Ancients couldn't let this just happen, they came up with a plan. America was the unfortunate victim and test subject. America is the happy, joyful, always smiling, and loud country, but what if everything they know about him is a lie? A mask no one could see through. The mask no one tried to look through. There was a lot they didn't know about him. A lot he hid from them. A lot he kept inside his cracking heart. Secrets will be spilled, and skeletons will come out of the closet. Feelings kept inside for so long, will come out. The sides of America they never knew of will come out today. The mask will come off today. The mask that's been worn for so long. Will he be saved? What happened to America? Who is America really? How many lies have been told? How many hearts will be broken? Did they ever know America at all? They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Complete

I ran downstairs into the living room, my heart pounding as I found all my brothers gathered around Nefeli. Her eyes were frantic, scanning the room, desperately searching for me. The scream that bastard had let out earlier must have reached her... The moment our eyes met, she practically threw herself at me, wrapping her arms around me so tightly I could barely breathe. I stood frozen for a moment, unsure of what to do. I hugged her back anyway... Even though I had no idea what was going on. "Thank God you're safe" she murmured in my ear, her voice trembling, leaving me even more confused. I glanced at my brothers. They all looked just as lost as I was. Except for Aiden and Alex.
