Sage has never had the life everyone expects a kid with famous parents to have. Even though he feels like his parents would rather him out of the picture, he looks at the bright side and never lets it tear him down. Until it's to much to bare. But just when he thinks he is finally breaking, he meets a girl. Honest has never felt the same ever since her dad passed a few years earlier. Her mother gets a new boyfriend every other month, causing Honest and her 2 siblings to pack up and move all over the place. She and her father were best friends, so ever since he passed, she has been feeling horrible. She drowns out her thoughts with drinking, smoking, and guys. She tries to put on a smile for the kids, but it's cracking. And she doesn't know how much more she can take. Honest Lies is a story about a boy and a girl who feel they have hit rock bottom. When Sage meets Honest, he is so grateful and he thinks she's what will finally fill the hole in his life. Honest doesn't believe in love. She thinks love is temporary and hateful and has never been shown what true love looks like. She doesn't understand that you can't mess with peoples heads the way she's messing with Sages. Sage thinks he can fix her and that everything will be okay. But what happens when he realizes she might be to far gone?
