Bruce was an wonderful student of Denver middle school in 1978 July 18 an generous handsome transfer from Japan who early joined baseball to get away from his bossy parents, Andrew yamada and Eleanor ,yamada ' little did he knew he would of been in an terrifying state of mind .

In which Vance is an out of place person, like usual. He gets held back twice, and when he decides to tell bruce he likes him at the beginning of his eleventh grade year, things get a little off track. 18 year old Vance Hopper was super into rock, metal, and all that kind of music. He even picked up drums and electric guitar, of course only playing when he was at his best friend's apartment due to his abusive father not allowing any of that stuff in his home. Surprisingly he had a crush on someone. Someone who's practically the opposite of him. Meanwhile, 17 year old Bruce Yamada is in the top orchestra, along with the top of his class, on violin. He's sorta into classical music, but never really listened to it outside of class and practice. Concerts always gave him a kick of energy, but after a while he wanted more, and his girlfriend was no help. She was plain, kinda boring, and was a goody-two shoes like Bruce.
