"Çokmu canın yanıyor?"

Kafamı sağa sola salladım. Cevap vermeden bir süre bana baktı.

"Lilith... Neden susuyorsun?" Sesi titremeye başladı. 

"Lilith...cevap ver. Nolursun!" Bağırmağa başladı. 

"Doktor. Buraya gelin. Şimdi!" Kapıya koştu.

"Buyurun..." Hemşirelerden birisi geldi. Hemşirenin halatındaki yazıda adı gözüküyordu. Adı Coraydı.  Beni görünce gülümsedi.

"Bayan Lilith... Demekki uyandınız. Bay Alfred siz uyanana kadar yanınızda-"

"Lilith neden konuşamıyor? Ne oldu ona!?"

 Bayan Cora bir süre sessizce bana baktı, sonrada ela gözlerinden alev saçan Alfrede. Onu ilk kez böyle kızgın görüyordum. 

"Bayan Lilith dün gecirdiği tramva ve yüksek bağırması nedeniyle malesef konuşma yeteneğini kaybetti"

 Alfred ellerini saçlarına kavradı. Ağzı yarı açıktı şekildeydi.

 Bu güne kadar asla konuşmak imkanım olmadı.
