Life used to be simple for Rose, but after being ripped from her world, she finds herself in the middle of a world only discussed in fairytales. Where monsters used to only lurk in the dark, under the beds, and deep inside closets. Now they roam the mountains and even the very bed she sleeps in. Ex-Alpha Eden has always been a Beast. His reputation is told as scary bedtime stories for children and warnings for Adults. It's the very thing that made him leave pack life to live on his own because being a lone wolf is better than having to deal with every cruel thing he's ever done in his life. But with this new threat chasing the woman he found, maybe being a Beast one last time wouldn't be so bad. * This is a Dark Romance book! Pay attention to the trigger page. Your mental health means more than a story, so if, at any point in time, you need to stop reading, stop reading!* Please only read if you are 18+. I've set the target audience to 25+, but that's never stopped kids from finding stuff they shouldn't lol.

"Stop," the beast growled in my ear. The sound vibrated through my entire body. I froze for a heartbeat from pure shock. He lowered his head beside mine, breath warm against my neck. His voice was low, dangerous... fraying at the edges. "Aurora," he said, "if you run from me again, I will chase you. And I will catch you. His hold tightened as if proving the point. "I will always catch you." Tears spilled down my cheeks. "You're scaring me," I whispered, voice shaking. His breath hitched-barely, but enough that I felt it. For a moment, just a moment, the iron in his grip softened. His hand slid from my waist to my wrist, holding firm but no longer crushing. Then his other arm locked around my upper body, strong enough that escape was impossible. "Aurora," he said, his voice rough, "you cannot run from a bond like this." I shook my head violently. "I'm human! I'm not meant for- for you!" His chest rumbled behind me, a low, frustrated sound. "You are meant for me," he said, lips brushing the shell of my ear. "Fate does not make mistakes."
