bradley 'rooster' bradshaw and (y/n) 'jewel' mitchell have been dating since their days at top gun. after (y/n)'s mom dies in an aircraft accident, rooster is stationed in baltimore and asks her to come with him. she says no to stay with her dad so she and rooster break up.

almost three years later, (y/n), maverick, and rooster and all asked to come back to top gun to teach a special top gun summer program. (y/n) and rooster are reunited again and start their romance back up again. but as they're dealing with teaching the next generation of pilots and avoiding a disapproving maverick, will their romance become too much?
