Livian struggled with the dead one that had surprised her. It fell into her, bringing her to the ground. Snapping away with its strong jaws  she attempts to shove it off when a sudden arrow came flying into its skull. It went silent. 

The blonde sighed, pushing the limp body from on top of her. Slowly she looked around, rising to her feet she carefully picked up her baseball bat, her bloodied hands slick and shaking as the crossbow wielding man moved closer to her.  "I appreciate the help." Her voice wavered.


"You bit?" He grumbled, voice low and gruff. 

She shook her head, "Not yet." Her eyes found blood stains on his ripped up t-shirt, "You?"

The bowman grunted, "Nah."

Livian nodded slowly, feeling herself calm, "Lucky us."

The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
