Battles between angels and demons are raging on and one day before battle Jesus asks God how well him and the angels will fare in battle with the demons, so God foresees the future and and sees that if the demons keep excelling at the rate that they are they will overthrow Jesus and his angels, so God creates the Heavenly Daggers one dagger for every power which are powers whomever wieldes a Heavenly Dagger can control and one to rule them all which is the dagger known as Soul Dagger which God created just for his son which can grant its wielder whatever they desire. Now years pass and to keep the Heavenly Daggers away from anything that might use their powers for evil God designed the Heavenly Daggers to only stay on one planet for a certain amount of millenia before migrating to another distant planet, and now earth has been chosen to become the home of the Heavenly Daggers and for the people on earth who know about the Heavenly Daggers its a race to see who can get the most Heavenly Daggers and ultimately claim Soul Dagger.

These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived.
