This is the first poem of this last month of 2012. I am challenging myself to post a poem every day for this month. They are my gift to you all for I hope that they will be all uplifting of your spirits and sing with joyful notes.

WHISPERS OF THE SOUL

Our Summer : My Truth
I am broken And now that you see, what you've allowed to happen to me The evils you have forced into my existence Self-serving evils now defying you with such persistence You try to cover up your lies Dangling hope in front of my eyes ~~~ I write to inspire others and to find a piece of myself that was lost or I never knew I had. The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama.
