Invitations and admissions from a prestigious academy were sent out, and to no one's surprise, the 5 champions received the letters from the academy. Red was reluctant at first, but after some convincing from his younger sibling, Akane, he agreed.

Similarly, the rivals too have received the letters, as they were, after all, one of the most powerful trainers that fit the age requirement for the academy.

Champion and rival meet again after roughly 7 years, surely nothing bad will happen, right? Surely some strings that supposedly ties you to your soulmate won't severely hurt you right?

Right?

[Ages does not follow the game/manga lore, for somewhat obvious reasons, sorry. Except for Akane(18), Wally(20) and N(22), the rest are 21.]
