I think that you are just the first of many to come to terms with what lingers within.
From what I know of Bruce Banner's backstory before Avengers Assemble, especially his suicide attempt, is quite greatly overlooked along with all of the Avengers mental health. This is just how I thought it might play out, and who knows I might do one for all the characters.
TRIGGER WARNINGS: mentions and depictions of suicide and trauma (though this is of course a trigger warning because I don't know what might set you off, it might do you well to keep in mind, depending on how much you read into things, there is a lot of self-reflection in this book and just might open your mind to how your view on everything is. Whether it be past experiences or others.)
