The rain was relentless.
It had been coming down in sheets for eight days straight in the already soaked Louisiana swamps. Kelly still couldn't believe she'd agreed to move from the city to middle of big riddled nowhere. No less, with him gone for weeks on end working on his new company in China.
The rain hadn't stopped there either, but Kelly didn't know. All the stations were down from the storm.
There was only one thing to do;
drink in the kitchen with her neighbor and friend, Donna.
But there was more to this storm than anyone else in the world had perceived.
Scientists often tell us that climate changes affect migrations of many species. What they didn't know, however, was that in this case the migration was causing the climate change.

The Triumph
While Gabriel Martinez lived a relatively normal life in a good job position as a librarian, he never really accepted his almost sealed fate, to marry a woman and have children as soon as possible. He knew, that being with a man meant being a criminal. Staying alone was the best option he had, as he only had to live through people staring at him, upon not having an engagement ring. However frustration collected over the course of multiple years and the pressure became unbearable, the more he tried to contain his feelings Haruki on the other hand had long given up. Stuck in an old brothel for over a decade, hiding his eyes and praying for just one more night, that he wouldn't end up dead was all he could ever remember and all that was left to him. He was in need of a breath for so many years. Yet he could never use a chance due to his aching limbs and his lacking social skills. The longer it took, the more he lost. Being restricted and socially outcasted was never how they'd planned their lives to be. But being gay men and foreingners in postwar America left them no choice but to stay behind closed doors and making sure that nobody would ever find out about their sexuality, making sure that no rumors could ever make it far. Both of them needed a breif pause. Even if it would only be short lived. This story explores the fears and the lives of two gay, fictional characters in the 1960's and a relationship between diffrent cultures and classes within a restrictive system, that believes they shouldn't exist.
No Bullets for the Beast
It was supposed to be his last day on the job. Unluckily for Killjoy, this crazed, cannibalistic beast tried to make it his last day on Earth. Killjoy had taken this god-forsaken mission for a little bit extra money before he would quit. He was tired. The middle-aged bounty hunter had etched his name across American mythos after decades of killing, gunslinging, and doing dirty work for one too many fat, greedy pigs. It was easy work, but the man can't get any older after years of doing it. And with a wife at home who he visited only so many times he could them on his one hand, and a daughter whose face he can barely remember year to year, it was time to hang up the boots. But when he is told about one job that could potentially set not only himself and his family for life, but for generations to come, Killjoy decides to screw it and do one last mission. The money he made was good, but not enough to last them. The reward? The deed to a gold mine. And the job? To investigate some desolate woods for missing people. It was as easy as they came. What a load of crap. The second Killjoy stepped foot into those forests, he knew something was not right. Desecrated bodies, the eerily empty mines and woods devoid of any light or humans, and the gnawing hunger that grew in him no matter how much he ate through his rations. Something was not right. And when Killjoy laid his eyes on it, he knew it was either fight or die.Complete

April 22 I've been walking for days, they're still tracking me though. i sleep high in the trees, I double back, walk in the river, cover my tracks, start false trails...it's all slowing me down but it's really the only chance I have. I'm on foot. I'm alone. The day the grid went down I was in the mountains and I stayed put for over a month, unable to contact anyone. The electricity is out, the phones don't work, no running water, no cars, no radio...nothing. It's dangerous to go into towns now, survivors are scared, starving and dying by the thousands, but their bodies seem to just disappear. Sometimes I hear screams in the night that sound like they come straight from the depths of Hell, and the scent of sulphur and rot rides on the breeze when the heaviest clouds block out the sun.
