From dusk until dawn

Aurora Claire lost her parents in a house fire and was sent to live with one of their best friends, Jenna Sommers, and her niece and nephew, Elena and Jeremy Gilbert. When their parents were alive, Aurora, Jeremy, and Elena hung out all of the time when they were younger, but then Aurora and her parents moved to New Orleans, they lost touch. They texted sometimes and maybe even called but they hadn't seen each other in a long time. But now they were living together and it was hard to keep secrets. Aurora and her family came from a long line of very powerful witches and warlocks and Elena is dating a vampire. Aurora has been taught to protect her true identity at all cost because once word gets out that she is a witch let alone a Claire witch, she will have people wanting her head on a stake. But Aurora happens to be able to sense other supernatural creatures and knows about Stefan and his brother, Damon, being a vampire but doesn't let Elena or Jeremy know that she knows about them or that she is supernatural herself.
