Y/N has always felt out of place, even around their friends and family. Everybody has a tattoo on their left wrist, a countdown until the exact moment they meet their 𝖘𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖒𝖆𝖙𝖊. One little hitch; before anyone meets their 𝖘𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖒𝖆𝖙𝖊, their world is completely black and white, except for the eyes of their true love. This is how it is for most, but what happens when Y/N, seemingly the only person who has their countdown in an unrecognizable language, gains the ability to see in color during their first turf war?

She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? What happens when she wanders into both paths and ends up in deeper ink than she intended to? Read the book to find out duh.... XD

QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!!
