it's been three months since the Krang invasion. everyone is healed and well. but one day when the brothers are goofing around, Mikey's newly discovered mystic powers go haywire. they're all transported to another world. will the brothers find a way back home, or will they be stuck in this parallel world for ever.
this takes place after the rise movie and somewhere in the middle of tmnt season 1. I will include some of my headcanons and I'll do my best to explain them.

Cold Fire Rising
This story is a rewrite of a fanfic I wrote in 1998, popular in the TMNT fandom. I have been getting emails from strangers asking me for "Cold Fire" or to write a new story in the same world, a world in which Michelangelo gains telekinetic and telepathic powers via alien technology but at a nearly fatal price. Angst, Tragedy, and Hurt/Comfort were my Tropes to play with. Mikey got hurt a lot. But being psionic helps delay death, you know? Now I get to play with the 2012 reboot from Nick. Despite my skepticism, it really grew on me. Mikey has freckles! And huge bright blue eyes! And he's the comedic prankster with secret brilliant intelligence, the loud silly annoying weird hedonist with ADHD and natural ninja skills who could be the most powerful martial artist if he'd concentrate his potential. It irritated me at first when April O'Neil was brought in as a hybrid teen human with Kraang DNA and psychic powers. But once it was established that in Dimension X, Michelangelo was very powerful, I realized that potentially, Mikey could also have Kraang DNA, which is why he is able to navigate Dimension X as if it were his natural state. "Hey, in crazy backwards land, crazy backwards dude is king." And it does make me wonder if the writers will actually touch upon that. If Mikey really has Utrom DNA, and if it is activated, would he be potentially psychic? I'm not waiting to find out. This story takes place in the middle of Season 4. But I imagine they could take a break for a few months to deal with... um... this. It's technically an AU since I ignore and expand the canon six months. Warnings for gore, violence, language, descriptions of medical procedures. Hallucinations and creepy nightmares abound. I get very rough with Mikey and his brain.)Complete

It didn't work out of planned and ended up pulling all of them into a new universe.] This story is set before the ROTTMNT Movie so Rise Turtles don't know about the Kraang. Leo hasn't gotten his role as the leader. And the Tmnt 2012 are set in like season 2. The times aren't perfectly aligned with the shows. This is also my first Fan-fic! Everything was finally over, the turtles and their friends and family had stopped the Krang and were now recovering from the battle. They could finally relax knowing that the Krang had been defeated.. right? What if there was one Krang left, what if the one Krang left wanted revenge? What will happen?
