it's been three months since the Krang invasion. everyone is healed and well. but one day when the brothers are goofing around, Mikey's newly discovered mystic powers go haywire. they're all transported to another world. will the brothers find a way back home, or will they be stuck in this parallel world for ever. 

this takes place after the rise movie and somewhere in the middle of tmnt season 1. I will include some of my headcanons and I'll do my best to explain them.
