Life in Paris hasn't been going good even since Monarch had hold of all the Miraculous's, plus her responsibilities with and without the mask, especially with Lila making it worse for her at school. Saying that she had a argument with her OWN crush who is none other than Adrien Agreste. Things has been going downhill ever since that incident and to started to become worse by the day. What made things worse is that, Monarch decided to start a War which is part of his plan to get the Last 2 Miraculous. But there was only one thing that changed Marinette/Ladybug's life forever...

Someone was screaming. A horrific, guttural sound that infected the entire night with sorrow. He wondered if it was the ghosts of the people he'd just killed. He wondered if they'd come back to haunt him, to follow his every waking move, to never let him forget the way he'd demolished them into dust. The sound pounded through his head, threatening to burst open his eardrums, determined to push him to a breaking point. Collapsing to his knees, Chat Noir had to pause to draw in a deep breath. It was only then that he realized the person screaming was him. -- Essentially a rewrite of the Miraculous movie, for people who liked the film well enough but it didn't quite meet their expectations--- But in this version: Adrien is the main focus instead, the Love Square is reversed, all the characters retain their TV-show personalities (meaning Plagg is not an annoying fart joke), the plot is way more insane, and the themes are a helluva lot... darker. (Also, the songs are somehow still included?? I just rewrote them to fit the opposite character-- but they're easy enough to ignore if you really hate songfics.)Concluida

This series is a little more intense. It covers topics of mental abuse. As someone who has been mentally abused for years when I was younger, it can be difficult to deal with people who scare or terrify you. Even when things seem to be the darkest, don't give up. In time things will get better. Don't let people who put you down define you. With constant pressure from his father, Adrien has developed some certainly bad PTSD, as well as fearful of everything he does. One wrong move at a fashion show and it caused another outburst of rage targeted only on Adrien. The only person he can really be himself around and rely on: Ladybug... his partner. At school, he's surrounded by his friends who try to be there for him, but he stays quiet about what he's going through. Marinette, the girl whose been crushing on him since she met him, tries her best to be there for him through anything. Knowing how sweet Marinette is, he tends to spend some time at her home, but his mental health and habits become more clear the longer he's there.

She didn't even know his name. OR, Master Fu's home and hideout has been compromised, and he suspects it's only a matter of time before Hawkmoth closes in on him and the miraculous box. Feeling desperate, he moves up his time table in evaluating Marinette to take on his role as Guardian. This requires her to go through the "Guardian's Trial" which involves her choosing all her own heroes, including a new Chat Noir. (Chat Noir is fine).
