THE SHADOWED CROWN

After learning she has a twin sister who was abducted at birth, Kylie, the royal princess of Axion, is determined to locate her missing sibling. She has spent the past four years retracing Kyra's footsteps, trying to glean some knowledge of her sister's whereabouts. The only thing she knows for certain is that Kyra once went by the name of Jack, and had traveled in the company of Richard B. Riddick, a known convict--until he abandoned her. Princess Kylie is on her way to Helion Minor, the last known sighting of her sister, when her ship crash lands on the unforgiving surface of the planet Fresion, a frozen wasteland. Knowing she and the ship's captain will surely die, she is astonished to see a lone figure--huge and seemingly tireless--running across the barren tundra toward the wreckage of the ship. She should feel elated, but all she feels is dread.
