Eighteen year old Hunter Gills has known nothing but closed off walls and narrow streets lined by UV lamps in Heavenfell. All his life, he's been trained to hunt down and kill vampires - a product of the deadly virus, "Lamiola-77", that turns the infected into living corpses who hate daylight.

One day, an unexpected vampire attack through the city walls that hasn't been breached for ten years, turns their world upside down. The attack seems deliberate, targeting the lead scientist who's relentlessly working to find an antidote for the virus that causes vampirism. Now it's up to Hunter and his team to find out the truth behind this sudden attack and secure the last stronghold against "Lamiola-77".

First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1.
