Anne is a chubby and insecure teenager. One day when she is looking for a diet to lose weight, she comes across a website that promotes being thin. Shocked, but still curious, she checks out the website. From that moment on she decides to stop eating. She gets a full force eating disorder. She goes very far to become perfect in her own eyes. She goes so far that she dies in the end as a result of her illness.

Veronica is Anne's best friend and tells their story. She describes her thoughts and Anne's fight to survive her illness. And how powerless she felt because she could not help her friend get through this, as she slipped further and further from her grasp...

This is a story about friendship, love, puberty, and the obsession with being perfect and beautiful, and als binding factor Anne's eating disorder.
