Everywhere she turned she was met with a stab. A stab to her already bloody and bruised back. She didn't know how much more she could take. Each metaphorical blade pierced her back and went straight into her heart. It ached oh so hard. She didn't understand what she did to deserve this pain. It seemed that everyone around her was turning on her and driving their own knives deep into her back. With a muffled cry she fell to her knees, the rain from the sky damping her clothes and falling in droves around her. She glanced at the clouds above her and screamed. She screamed so loud that she was sure everyone in the near vicinity heard. But she didn't care. Because all she felt now was numb. Numb from the pain of betrayal. She should have known it was coming...all the signs were there. Unfortunately, she made the decision to ignore them. Oh, what a stupid decision that was.
