Wound

A story with two distinctive parts, Wound explores the delicate and tragic event that befalls Lucas and his family. A mysterious disappearance, a desperate search, and complex family dynamics make for a tense part 1. Part 2 explores the after affects of tragedy, how trauma is like a spilled candle solidified in the brain, coating everything it touches. Lucas struggles to cope even years later, growing increasingly isolated paranoid, and self destructive. Alcohol, drugs, car accidents, and intense internal dialogue make Lucas's road to ever getting better a difficult one.
